yeah at first glance i thought this was a bike one of these people left in the grass or something like that but i dont know.. maybe all these shapes are something else entirely, you're right. none of them are really distinctly people.

i sometimes get so confused by these kinds of conversations... we're all talking as if theres a definitive answer somewhere... all of those interpretations are correct and none of them are... there was no actual intent behind any of this, nothing was meant, no message, no point... .. its just some sort of statistical approximation, a random segment of the probability field or something? right? so what are we talking about?

well i mean.. this is a can of worms..
i guess you're right that theres a problem with how these conversations are phrased. there really is no definitive answer here and no ultimate mystery to solve... but even if nothing was really meant.. something was nonetheless conveyed.. or i dont know if thats the right word for it but there is something... not a message and not meaning in the conventional sense but its something.. and we're all reacting to it and basically comparing our reactions, right?

well ok i suppose i just object to the phrasing that seems inaccurate or misleading. and i suppose theres no real way around it yet but i feel like we could try? i mean what is it that we're talking about really? its like we're all seeing different things like in a rorschach test or something.. so why does it seem like thats not the predominant tone?

i would also say that in a certain sense the intent, meaning, message or point never really were solid in the way you seem to be suggesting... or i suppose there was intent but at least the process of interpretation was never this straightforward.. it was always noisy... artworks always had a life of their own, separate from the authors initial intentions..

these long shadows dont correctly correspond to the position of the light source tho.. but its really visually effective, yes.
