my first reading of this is a videogame POV of a cursed back alley crime scene or something like that.. but there are a couple of elements that make it a bit more complicated

thats a good reading yes... what are the things that make it complicated for you? for me its the strange crop.. it's like a polaroid frame but not really

for me its the strange soft focus that makes everything look like a washed out photograph.. and then these various red elements that seem completely two-dimensional as if painted onto the photograph...
