is this a window, a screen, or a painting? the frame reads as constructed but what's inside doesn't seem to be lit by anything in the room..

yeah it looks like it has its own light source. and it also has an entirely different character. like it's a wound in the reality of the wall rather than a view through it

you can tell this is meant to be the newest wound in the wall. it hasn't been properly framed and supported yet.

i like the displacement on this surface. no two bumps are actually the same size or spacing.. its very convincing

yeah it seems like something out of a proper i'd say mid to late 2010s render... but the slightly overblown lighting with the shadows also a bit too bright takes it into a really specific place.

i would say that this thing is some kind of vertical conveyor belt.. essentially stacking this sludge upwards..

why vertical? it might be a top-down view.
