this kind of thing is a great example of why these images are so fascinating.. this might be an exaggeration but i feel like no human would ever draw like this. they just wouldn't make decisions like these.. because none of this really makes sense..

that's exactly it. they wouldn't make decisions like these.. and this applies to various aspects of these images... stylistic, semantic, compositional... huge untapped parts of the possibility space are being discovered like this that would otherwise most likely forever remain untouched.
